I think we should all install it immediately on all machines.

Will Sybase continue to maintain 15.0.x stream independently
from 15.5?
Or will 15.5 be the latest and greatest of all ASE releases
from now on?

I'm not in the secret of the gods, but Sybase usually has two actively
supported releases simultaneously - up to now 12.5.x and 15.0.x, and from
Dec 31 it should be 15.0.x and 15.5.

What is the timeframe when ESD1, ESD2 and ESD3 for ASE 15.5
would be released?

Wow! You're quite pessimistic - although I must admit that avoiding version
1.0 is usually a pretty good strategy. The targeted dates are supposed to
be available at http://www.sybase.com/detail?id=1038641 but Sybase can be
pretty slack at updating it.

More the later than the former.

My understanding is that 15.0.3 ESD #4 will be the last
ESD for 15.0.x, and it will be 15.5.x from then on.

My current best guess is that 15.0.x ESD #4 will be released
around mid-year 2010.
