If I need to connect up to 2000 users to Sybase server which platform is
recomended?

Does NT can support this amount ?

Yes. ASE 11.5.1 and above on NT supports over 2000 connections.
Whether the performance is acceptable, you will have to decide.

We are currently working on ASA 6.03 and we want our project to work with
2000 users, based on 2000 connected users runing reading / writing, which
server will you recomend and which clients ?

Oops! You were thinking ASA and this is an ASE newsgroup. My answer was for ASE
on NT.
If you have in mind an OLTP system with 2000 concurrent users, then ASA is not
the right RDBMS.
ASA was not designed for this.
If you're thinking 2000 users but only about 20 connected at a time, then ASA
is OK.

I am asking which DB platform do you recomend for 2000 connections,
Some told me that 2000 Connections on NT Sybase Server will work very good
and I should use UNIX Server.
