There is a plug-in for the Win32 version of Sybase Central. The file name and path (for
me) is c:\sybase\ASEP\scsqlsrv.dll.

Jim - I am confused on the issues of the plug-ins

What I would like is to be able to access both a ASE server and a
SqlAnywhere database within the same Sybase Central application.

The scscsqlsrv.dll is the plugin for ASE, is there a DLL plug-in for
SqlAnywhere?

Or is there a JAVA plug-in for ASE in beta stage yet?

Thanks - bruce.duncan@lackland.af.mil

For the Win32 version of Sybase Central there are plug-ins that work for ASE, ASA and SQL
Anywhere. I run these on my laptop. For SQL Anywhere use C:\sybase\sqlany50\win32
\scsqlany.dll.

It gets installed during the installation process. Make sure you have that option
selected.

Yes, there are other DLL files involved. But the one I gave you is the only one that you
have to declare within Sybase Central. The OpenClient installation should have provided
the necessary DLL files.
