Hello,

I've been told that It was to possible to have a CE agent execute a package
by placing in the folder \inWork\.

I have a package that works correctly when downloaded from the command
server but when I place this package in the folder (with a copy command),
nothing happens.

Is there a way to have the agent execute this package?

Thanks in advance,
jjou

I'd have expected .pkg files to execute quite quickly after they got to the
Inwork folder.

The questions are:

Did you actually create a Direct CE package? Docked CE packages have a
different way of executing. Or did you create a PC package? That won't work
on Microagents either.

The other thing to look at is whether the agent has properties that
schedule it to wait till a certain time for processing. You can view that
information in File -> Properties -> Schedule tab in the package editor.

Besides the above though, I think you can benefit a lot by contacting
iAnywhere to open a tech support case. We probably need exact version and
build, device model, OS for the command server, and the exact package
itself for any in depth analysis.
