Hello,
I was reading the manuals from Sybase and they seemed to mention
there is a way to send an email to a specific person every time an error is
generated. However it was only a generalized sentence. Can someone point me
in the direction of what I need to do? Do I have to add a trigger to a
specific systable...if so which one? Thanks.

John

You can't put triggers on system tables. I think what it is referring to is
evaluating the @@error in an IF statement and then using xp_sendmail to send
an email if that condition is true. Another way would be to have a process
that checks a custom error table every minute or some other frequency and
sends an email to people depending on the error message. Your code will have
to handle the error somehow and take appropriate action basically.
