You can use the dblog utility to change the path for the log file before
copying it to the device.
I would suggest removing the path information altogether (eg. dblog -t
foo.log foo.db)

hi jason ,
thx,
but if i remove the path altogether , will it affect my
syncronisation?
coz i have setup a mobilink syncronisation bwtn my
PPC db to my conslidated DB running in my Server.
if i don't specify a tranaction log , will it affect my
syncronisation?? as the dbmlsync will look for a transaction log, for
syncronsing the db to my consolidated database, correct me if im worng,
thanx and regds,
ramesh

Removing the path doesn't mean remove the log file.

> > I would suggest removing the path information altogether (eg. dblog -t

This dblog command still specifies a log file. The change is that it
doesn't specify a path in which to find the log file (eg: dblog -t c:\big
long directory tree\foo.log foo.db). In the absence of a hard coded path the
log file is assumed to be in the same directory as the database file.

As an FYI, the sybase.public.sqlanywhere.general newgroup is
specifically focused on ASA and the recommended location to post ASA
questions.
